IABC is the International Association of Business Communicators. WICI is Women in Communications, Inc. I was a member of both from 1981–1993. These awards were from the San Antonio, Texas chapters of these two professional associations.
I’m sure you noticed these awards are all from 1990 and earlier. Well, since then I’ve had to pay my own entry fees (yes, I’ve been self-employed for a long time!) and the type of work I’ve done more recently hasn’t fit neatly in these groups’ contest categories. I think my work in the past few years is miles beyond what I used to do. But you be the judge of that when you view my portfolio.
